Set Up Your Timetable From Excel

  • ●Download one template with a tab each for periods, rooms, subjects, classes, weekly hours and teachers — with an example and instructions in your language — fill it in, and import your whole setup in one step
  • ●Prefer to go step by step? The rooms, subjects, teachers, classes and weekly-hours steps each accept their own sheet, with a template built from what you already have
  • ●Files are checked first and every problem is listed before anything is saved; importing a corrected file updates your records instead of creating duplicates
  • ●Importing a study plan, spreadsheet or ready timetable grid now creates every record in one operation — either everything lands or nothing does — and re-imports reuse your existing subjects, teachers, classes and rooms

Timetabling That Fits Real Schools

  • ●No rooms set up yet? Skoolia now generates a full timetable anyway — lessons stay in each class's own room, and only subjects that need a specific room, like labs and gyms, book one
  • ●A class larger than your biggest room is now scheduled in its own room rather than left out, and the setup check suggests when a bigger room would help
  • ●The weekend days you choose in Settings now drive the whole timetabling area, so Sunday–Thursday schools get a Sunday-first week everywhere — periods, dialogs, timetable views and the student timetable
  • ●When a timetable can't be generated yet, the Review step says exactly why in plain language instead of showing a technical error
  • ●Generation now places everything that fits and lists the gaps, with a clear Saved or Not saved on the report; "every lesson or nothing" is an opt-in under Advanced Settings

A Guardians Directory

  • ●A new Guardians page under Students lists every parent once, with their children, whether they have a portal account, and what their children still owe
  • ●Each parent is a single record: update a name or phone number once and it applies to all of their children, and adding a guardian whose email is already known offers their existing details
  • ●Edit a guardian from their page, with optional occupation, employer, work phone, address and staff-only notes
  • ●Row and bulk actions: send portal invitations in one go (with a sent/failed summary), message selected guardians, or export the selection to CSV

Move Your School Into the New Year in One Step

  • ●Classes → Promote Students proposes, for each of last year's classes, the class one grade up in the same programme; final-year classes graduate
  • ●Every student follows their class by default and can individually be set to Promote, Repeat year, Graduate or Leave school
  • ●Applying it enrols students in their new classes, sets their grade placement for the year and closes last year's enrollments — last year's grades, attendance, invoices and timetables are never touched
