Tips & Best Practices

  • Check your dashboard daily for new assignments and announcements.
  • Keep track of upcoming assignment due dates.
  • If you notice any errors in your attendance or grades, inform your teacher.
  • Never share your password — your school will never ask you for it.

Frequently Asked Questions

Use the password reset link on the sign-in page at app.skoolia.io, which sends a reset email to your school address. If you cannot access that email, ask your school office to help — they can re-issue access for you.

No. Grades appear in the student portal and the parent portal at the same time, as soon as your teacher enters them. There is no delay between the two views, so you and your parents see the same information.

Speak to the teacher for that subject first, since they enter and can correct the grade. Mention the specific assignment and what you expected. Students cannot edit grades themselves — only the teacher can amend the record.

Yes. The portal works in a mobile browser, so you can check your timetable, assignments and grades from a phone or tablet without installing anything. Sign in with the same details you use on a computer.

Open Assignments to see current and past work, with due dates and instructions for each. Your dashboard also surfaces upcoming assignments, which is the quickest way to see what is due this week.

A missing subject usually means your enrolment for that class has not been recorded yet, particularly early in a term or after changing options. Tell your form tutor or the school office so your timetable can be corrected.
