Before you start

For School owners, Administrators, Teachers, Parents, Students, Operations managers

  • Use your own account and an email address you can access.
  • Have an authenticator app available if you choose to enrol in MFA.

Open your profile security settings

Open Profile from your account menu and find Security. Use this area to manage your password and two-factor authentication.

Choose whether to enable MFA

New owners and administrators are not required to enrol in MFA to start using Skoolia. To add it, start the two-factor setup, scan the QR code with your authenticator app and verify the current code.

Keep recovery information securely

Save the recovery codes shown during setup in a secure place separate from your device. Follow the on-screen recovery instructions if you lose access to your authenticator, and contact support if you cannot complete recovery.

Use a unique password

Follow the password requirements displayed in the form. Use a password manager to create and store a unique password. If you forget it, use the password reset option on the sign-in page.

Complete verification when prompted

Once MFA is enrolled, sign-ins may require an authenticator code. Sensitive operations can require additional verification. Contact support if verification fails rather than disabling protections to get around the prompt.

Good practice

  • Never share passwords, authenticator codes or recovery codes.
  • Sign out when you finish using a shared device.
  • Contact support promptly if you suspect someone else has accessed your account.
